Josh’s special PSA video will be on broadcast media nationally beginning January 2010. Get a sneak peak at the video and a behind the scenes clip HERE. For more details or to get involved visit standup2cancer.org.
In addition to Josh’s special PSA, Stand Up 2 Cancer On Demand will feature an extraordinary library of musical entertainment including hundreds of music videos from many of the world’s biggest stars and groups.
the recently created Facebook group ( http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=153576027866 )will include videos that youtube deleted from my accounts ( http://youtube.com/lovemyangellexxa and http://youtube.com/OfficialLexxa ). A small reminder that http://youtube.com/lovemyangellexxa is inactive. The only reason it is still there is because I don’t have all the videos anymore.
tune in on the facebook group to see new videos, as well as some old ones, that were banned from YT. keep joshing.
Thank you to all the lovely friends and subscribers I have had in the past on http://youtube.com/lovemyangellexxa . you have all been wonderful.
Due to some issues, I decided it is time to change my YouTube account. The link to that one is http://youtube.com/OfficialLexxa . Hope I will be able to enchant you on that account as much as I did on the previous one.
The only good thing out there was Josh. I hated the wait, but hey, everyone knows you gotta save the best for last. Despite everything and the fact it was 5 AM and i was still up, i couldn’t believe my ears. He came on stage, he sat at that piano, and he rocked the hell out of the arena! Changing colors is so good for his voice, i did not believe. It made all my annoyance with the other artists just fade away, all that was left was Josh, his voice, and the music. The world didn’t matter, just the music. Thank you Josh for an amazing performance, once again, thank you so very much, and Thank You for being you!
here are the two songs he singed, not posting the duet with Aretha, but instead linking you to another live YRMU. The Queen has lost her touch, unfortunately. That’s alright, though. Josh you were amazing, but you can’t be amazing for more than yourself. Chin up, we love ya even more.
Changing Colors, from the LJS_Lexxa youtube channel
Weeping with Vusi Mahlasela, from the same channel
The YRMU that’s worth hearing (any other version than Aretha’s duet, by that way)
here’s a cute footage from the rehearsals with Josh
and coming soon, an interview about a beautiful day, all together. (as soon as i get to upload it )
I will also like to apologize, as many of the Grobanites did, about what happened in the chat room from the online stream. Many people were hurt and/or horrified about what was said in there, so i am truly sorry. This day was supposed to be a day for joy and equality, not for racism and homophobia. more info on the Josh Groban Message Board. I am not the one who started the thread, but you can find me there, my screen name is lovejoshssmile
"Let's talk about music. Can we do that? Maybe rock, maybe roll. Your music, my music and their music. Whatever you're hearing, you have to admit it's in your ears always and sometimes it's in your soul, sometimes it's punching you in the back bone and makin' it hard for you to breathe. Take a breath - a deep one. I want to talk about music"
