I am hereby apologizing for not writing anything in so long. How am I doing that? With a song.
Y’all know I love rock music. I knew about Godsmack [a.n.- Sully Erna is the lead singer of the band Godsmack]. I loved the song I Stand Alone that is featured on the soundtrack of the movie The Scorpion King. In fact, that song is the reason I even mustered the will to watch the darn movie; and let’s face it, if you haven’t seen The Scorpion King, you do not deserve to live. (part two and part three were fun to watch, but not as fun as the original movie, even though it featured better actors). Anywho, here’s the vid for the soundtrack.

She’s the epicness epicdom of epic epicness and she has a wicked taste in music that I am simply in awe of.
However, you already know that I try to keep the blah-blah to a minimum on this blog, and that is why I don’t write ‘classic’ reviews of songs/albums/artists/bands.
This is the only thing I will mention, not because it is the only thing worth mentioning, but because I could write a book on how awesome this band is.
The pyro effects in concerts are a pretty sweet touch. By that, I mean not everyone has the guts of including them in a show, mostly because of the high risks. The pyrotechnic effects add that something extra that make I Stand Alone one of the most awesome songs ever sung live.
Sully’s voice sounds even better live (how is that possible, right?!) than it does on a studio recording. Maybe I am a little biased on this- who cares?! I love a good band with good songs that sounds amah-zing! live.
I leave you with this amazing concert snippet, as I am off to watch The Avengers at the movie theatre with my best friend in the world. I hear it’s great, so expect a movie review soon, as well as a new playlist and if you’re lucky, maybe a movies-I’ve-seen-recently rating.
I’ve never heard anything so beautiful in my whole life. If you don’t count the saving grace of Josh Groban’s voice, this is the most amazing, beautiful thing I have heard in my life. It’s funny that I find this today, April 4th, my birthday. I needed to smile, and 17-year-old Jonathan and 16-year-old Charlotte inspired me so much that I got all teary-eyed. But don’t take my word for it… Watch the video.
I’m seriously contemplating watching the show to see these two perform. Simon’s face says it all. He was a little harsh with Charlotte, but hey, that’s his job… To be ruthless and sarcastic.
I’m just in awe of this performance. It’s so beautiful that my world stopped for two minutes. It was completely frozen.
Thank you, Jonathan and Charlotte for giving me a huge reason to feel inspired tonight. You guys rawk, and I am rooting for ya! ♥
what I love the most about these guys is that there’s new music every week. You don’t have time to get bored with their songs(not that you ever could, even if).
I love how these guys – once again – brought the attention to the lyrics… Something Katy needs to do more, in my humble opinion, because most of her songs have great lyrics, but few notice this because of the music… The words just seem to fade into the background sometimes, and it’s a shame.
My opinion is unchanged. Artists should pay BOYCE AVENUE to cover their songs, because they do a much better job!

I got my hands on this amazing late night recording… And I wanted to share it with you all, so this is the purpose of this post.
My computer is still not fixed, but thank God it’s not the only one I own. Even if I can’t be online as much as before (I apologize to everyone for not replying to your e-mails; it’s been hectic…) but I want you to give this song a listen, and then leave a comment below, tell me what you think about it. I personally adore this Acoustic Cover… It is also, one of my favorite songs of all time , so there’s one more incentive to share it with you all.
The quiet desperation I sense towards the end in his voice is just indescribable. That’s all I’m gonna say. The strong emotions that I felt listening and watching this video inspired me. Hope you like.
well, I still haven’t decided if this is going to be a weekly thing, or what… I had a really bad day on Saturday, and those of you who have me on facebook know a little bit about it. I said I will blog about it, but then I realized it’s not worth the attention. Long story short, about 50 soccer fans, all drunk out of their minds, traveling in the same train as I were under the impression that they’re the awesomest (is that even a word?) people in the Universe. One of them made a move on me, and I warned him that if he touches me he might lose a limb. He tuched me anyway, and I smacked him silly. He fell on his ass, and it almost started a riot. I wanted to call my ex-sensei (one of them, anyway…) to round some of his students up and come spill some blood. As I was talking to him, I realized it wasn’t worth it, and the fact that I was talking on the phone with him and hearing the others argue about how they’re gonna defend him, but that if they get beaten up, they’ll eat the above mentioned guy for breakfast (read: beat him up so hard his own mother wouldn’t recognize him) made me chuckle and calm down a little bit.
Those who know me, know that I turn to music for practically everything. Ergo, the post I am writing today. Since I last posted, there has been literally tons of music I discovered, and listened to (for some cool music, visit my chart on We Are Hunted – link on the right –>> ). However, you won’t find most (if any) of the songs I am about to post there.
Starting today, I decided to post my weekly/ monthly playlist for everyone. I am not sure if this will be a weekly or a monthly thing yet. So barewith me(yes, I am saying ‘BARE‘, not ‘bear’. I am inviting you to get your mind naked with me. Have an open mind, and try to listen to these songs without judging the artists. Just the music. It’s all that really matters) .
