I was about to start writing the article / Q&A session with Thomas Neptune, when I messed up and clicked a link that led me to a cover on youtube.
This

sick.
So sick, that I just HAD to share it with you.

Okay, well I have been lazy lately. I’ll admit to that, and accept whatever punishment you folks decide is best for me. I am so behind on everything I SHOULD have posted on my blog that it is seriously not funny anymore :p
So there’s this guy – he kinda sorta writes for a living. His name is Lee Taylor. His upcoming book is called Bound, and it’s dropping this October on Ebook and November 21st on paperback.
This is what we know (‘officially’) about the book.
Ursine Edwards was a normal well-adjusted teenager prior to Summer vacation. Now he has unintentionally married a Demon, fallen into line with a wolf pack and is being hunted by witches as well as the government, who are all in turn trying to use Ursine for their own devices.
The reason I am super excited for this is because I was privileged enough to read a snippet from the book, a while back … Come to think about it, it was a long time ago. Wowzah. It impressed me so much that I hold on to that tingly feeling I get when I start reading a story I know I am not going to be able to leave before it is over. Aside from the fact that this book is beautifully written, and exciting, it could very well be the starter of the new Urban Fantasy book wave that has been constantly comin’ at us for a while now(and we all know who to blame for that…).
I had the chance of having a little chat with Lee. I am not going to call it an ‘interview’, mostly because well, I am not an interviewer, and Lee just did this out of the kindness of his heart … sooo… From a wannabe writer, to an actual writer…. That little snippet stayed with me, and that is why I am so excited for it to hit the stores, already!
I had fun reading Lee’s answers to my questions. He’s a witty guy, with a great sense of humor, and I hope you enjoy this little part that is up next, as much as I did

Okay, so last night I got this e-mail… I initially thought it was spam, telling me about some guy named Thomas Neptune, and how he won the John Lennon songwriting contest (I actually made a typo, and it came out Jon Lennin, which was so funny for some reason, I couldn’t let it slide.), from someone at LaFamos.com , telling me that my blog is totally awesome, and that they would appreciate it if I’d blogged about him, because she noticed I blog a lot about music and stuff. I feel inspired, and this is why: Last week, Boyce Avenue kicked off their world tour (click here for tickets!!), and Melenie, from the Get Boyced blog attended both the show in Seattle, as well as the one in Vancouver. She wrote this review of the Seattle show that just melted my heart, and I want to share it with you. The pictures she took are amazing, and the way she writes inspires joy and happiness. Even if you are not a BA fan, I encourage you to read the article she wrote. It will make you giggle and give you all sorts of moronic smiles
A Weekend With Boyce Avenue, Part One: Seattle
I went to see Boyce Avenue live as they kicked off their 2011 US/Canada Fall Tour….first in Seattle, Washington at the Showbox, and then in Vancouver, B.C. at the Vogue Theater. For both shows, I had a VIP Meet & Greet with the guys before the show through Artist Arena. In Seattle, I got a special Meet & Greet with them after the show for doing promo/street teaming. Here’s my recap/review of the Seattle show. My recap/review of the Vancouver show will be posted separately.
I had a dream last night (again) that I was running from something and I fell into a lake with pitch black water. It really felt like I was drowning, and I couldn’t see how to get back to the surface. It felt like I was going deeper and deeper into the water, and at one point I felt like I couldn’t move anymore. That’s when my special person jumped into the lake and pulled me out, and I felt safe and like it was all going to be OK… When I opened my eyes in the dream and saw his face, and he picked me up in his arms and hugged me, I didn’t feel scared anymore.
Feeling like you’re drowning has to be the most horrible feeling in the world. Even if it’s just in a dream…
From what I gathered (during my short google inquiry about the meaning of dark water), I found several things about it.
water: Emotions. If you’re entering then you may be going into strong feelings, deep water will find you looking deeply into you unconscious. One can drown in their own emotions. How deep is the water, how is it contained?

To dream of drowning, denotes loss of property and life; but if you are rescued, you will rise from your present position to one of wealth and honor.

To dream that you are drowning indicates that you are feeling overwhelmed by emotions. Repressed issues may be coming back to haunt you. You may be proceeding too quickly in trying to discover your unconscious thoughts. You should proceed more cautiously and slowly. If you drown to death, then is refers to an emotional rebirth. If your survive the drowning, then it means that a waking relationship or situation will ultimately survive the turmoil.

they pretty much say the same thing. I’m in love, and it’s hard, because we’re so far apart. The fact that he saves me every time , means that we will overcome all the hardships ahead of us.
I really hope that is true, because, dude, you’re the one I was waiting for all this time…
The fault is not mine!
I just love the fact that a song almost as old as me can be so money!!!!
Too tired to say more. 4 AM. Peace
